And people say I'm too quiet.
Some of you may have noticed I have been too quiet lately. That is because I can't afford internet. And getting to a place I can look at information, process it, and write a post about it isn't really working out as a feasible alternative. This is on top of not having a digital platform other than a mobile device for over a year.
I miss actually being able to use twitter as more than a passive device. I miss looking for music from around the world and posting videos of it. I miss being able to monitor a breaking story via live stream and simultaneously post the action live to Daily Kos.
I miss being able to multi task on a level a PC allows.
There is a thrill of a hunt as I find a tweet with no links referencing an event and searching for that event to find out the news and if it is a valid story bring it to your attention. I love it almost as much as doing math. It is just that fun.
Obviously I'm bored. But I'm trying to use that boredom and my skills not only to entertain but educate. And hopefully effect the political process in such a way as to right the Ship of State.
